Inter Orlando Academy is pleased to announce that we will be adding additional squads this upcoming 2020/2021 season to form our junior academy.

Due to the current environment with COVID-19 shutdowns and delays, Inter Orlando Academy will open our Player Registration portal from May 1st, 2020 and we have decided that all players that register for the 2020/2021 season will be granted a placement with our junior Academy for the 2020/2021 season.

​

As always our main focus is to Identify, Develop, and Promote players to the next level.

JUNIOR ACADEMY TEAM FORMATION

Our focus at Inter Orlando Academy is to Identify, Develop, and Promote our players to the next level in their game.

​

This could simply be helping a young player improve their technical skills on the ball, helping a current High school athlete earn a Scholarship to College, or working with driven players that want to turn Professional.

​

Due to the current limitations and unknown return to play dates, we will be adopting a 'Placement Guarantee' policy that will allow all players, current and new, the opportunity to play for Inter Orlando Academy next season.

​

Once we can return to the field and start training, our coaching staff will run a series of 'Assessment weeks' where all players will be evaluated and placed correctly within our academy set up. This process is very important, as we want to ensure a successful development process for all our players.

​

Our Academy teams will be made up specifically of players between the ages of 14-19 years old only!

​

Academy players, current and new, will be able to register online for the 2020 - 21 season between May 1st - May 31st, 2020. All registered players during this time period will be guaranteed placement with Inter Orlando Academy and subsequently placed on their appropriate squad within the academy after evaluation.

FUTURE STARS

Future Stars is our Recreational Program that is aimed at players between the ages of 2-11 years old.

The purpose of the identification phase is to allow players to be introduced to the game of soccer within an enjoyable environment.

​

Without applying any extra pressures of winning, intense coaching, or being categorized based on the player's skill level, our players are able to express themselves in a fun and pressure-free environment that has proved to enhance the player's fundamental skill level, setting them up for future success

JUNIOR ACADEMY

The Junior Academy is our Competitive Development Program for players between the ages of 12-16 years old.

​

During the player's time with the Junior Academy, they will follow a curriculum that is outlined by the 4 Pillar Development Model (Technical/Tactical, Physical, Psychological, and Social) as used in Professional Academies around the world.

​

All players in the Junior Academy will follow the same style of training as the Senior Pro Academy.

Players will experience a strict training curriculum, receive nutritional coaching, be introduced to the importance of strength & conditioning training, and players will also get the opportunity to learn from video analysis sessions of training and game scenarios.

​

Our Staff firmly believe that by allowing players to have the opportunity to “Train like the Pros”, is crucial to help each player master their game.

​

Players will only receive coaching from Professional, Experienced and Certified coaches.

SENIOR ACADEMY:

PRO & COLLEGIATE DEVELOPMENT

The Senior Academy focuses on getting players between the ages of 16-24 years old the opportunity to be signed by Collegiate and Professional teams around the world.

​

Athletes at this stage in their careers will have the option to choose which path they want to take in the future career (College or Professional)

​

Players will be placed on a Personal Development Plan (PDP) which is specifically designed for each athlete. The PDP will allow the player to track their own progress both and off the soccer field.

​

Players will follow a strict training regime (5 days per week), designed to replicate that of the elite College/Professional programs. Players will receive on and off-field training, as well as strength, conditioning, nutrition, video analysis, marketing, and recruitment.

​

Players at this level will also receive education on how the soccer industry looks and operates at the next level. Players will receive resources and be able to attend clinics/presentations and seminars set up by IOA staff, designed to help the athletes prepare themselves appropriately for the future.

​

All athletes at this level will be constantly monitored and scouted by the 1st team staff throughout the season. Should a player in the academy prove that they are ready to make the jump to the senior level, they will be offered the opportunity to do so, regardless of their age. IOA staff believe that this is key in player development and we want to encourage players at Inter Orlando Academy to progress to the 1st team

The Inter Orlando Academy College Program has been designed to aid High school student-athletes to prepare for the Collegiate Athletics.

The program is focused on helping student-athletes with Recruitment, Academic requirements, Athletic Highlight/Recruitment Videos, and Personal Development plans to aid the student-athlete in their search for Academic/Athletic Scholarships.
